Rev. Sunshine is an ordained minister through The Centers for Spiritual Living. She received her Master’s degree and studied at Holmes Institute under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith. Rev. Sunshine is a gifted speaker who transforms lives and helps people live their genuine life through spiritual practice.
Sunshine grew up in a diverse part of the Bronx where Puerto Ricans, Blacks, Whites, Jews, drug and numbers runners, and gangsters co-existed. From a young age Sunshine learned to appreciate each individual’s humanness and the value of each life.
Rev. Sunshine’s has always been a spiritual seeker. As a child she studied Catholicism and then was a practicing member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years. In addition, Rev. Sunshine has studied Buddhism and other Eastern traditions.
Rev. Sunshine’s depth and breadth of spiritual study and life experience gives her a unique ability to meet people where they are and to appreciate the beauty in everyone, everywhere.
In 2009 Rev. Sunshine was awarded the Gene Lentzner Human Relations Awards from the California Conference for Equality and Justice, and was honored by Long Beach Pride as the Female Community Grand Marshal.
When you experience her energy and the joy that radiates from her you will understand why Rev. Sunshine’s motto is:
“By means of your spiritual practice you live your Genuine Life.”
Rev. Sunshine Daye is a living example of the spiritual principles she devoted her life to while studying at the Agape International Spiritual Center. It is my honor to have had her as a student and now as a colleague who is making a vital impact upon the lives of all those who cross her path.
